FAQ
I HAVE DENTAL ANXIETY. HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Best way to deal with your dental anxiety is to communicate openly and freely with your dentist or hygienist the reason why and what specifically makes you feel anxious. A thorough explanation of the procedure helps many feel more relaxed when they understand what will be happening. Please request if you would like a lavender scented essential oil on your patient bib to help relax and soothe your nerves. Feel free to bring your music and earphones or airpods to listen to during your appointment. We can also offer you a calming and relaxing warm tea before you start your procedure. If you need medication to relax you, please discuss with your dentist so they can recommend the best option and make sure it is safe to prescribe for you. Dr. Cabael has over 25 years of experience and has a reputation of having a very gentle touch.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Our main focus is to provide you with the best dental care possible, however staff time and availability is very limited to communicate with Insurance companies everyday so we request patients pay in full for their dental treatment. We will assist with sending insurance claims on your behalf online so you may receive your reimbursement faster than by mailing, in some cases within just a few days.
As a courtesy, we can offer exceptions for patients who provide validation of their dental insurance online or with a print out of their insurance details along with effective dates and other necessary details or immediate verification with an insurance agent over the phone. These services may be subject to a $25 administration fee.
Best option is to pay for your treatment then find out how much your dental insurance will reimburse your the dental visit then submit immediately the dental claim form online and the insurance will send you a cheque shortly after. We accept debit, Visa, Mastercard and e-transfers.
DO YOU HAVE EXTENDED HOURS? I HAVE A DENTAL EMERGENCY AND IT’S SATURDAY
We are available throughout the week Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturdays 10 to 4pm. Outside regular office hours are available by request. If you are having a dental emergency, call the emergency number on our voicemail and a dentist will contact you to discuss your concern over the phone and assess your situation first. There is a special fee for dental visits outside office hours in addition to needed treatment for the problem.
